Tier 2 General dEpendant Visa Rejected - Advice me on next s

Post by sdesaraju » Tue Oct 08, 2013 9:02 am

Hi,

I have applied Tier 2 General Dependant visa for my wife in India on Sep 17 2013, and it got rejected for below reasons

1. Sufficeint funds are not maintained for 3 days in the month of July, even though the final balance for July is above £ 600 - I have submitted the bank statements for last 6 months and all the months carry a balance of more than £ 1000.

2. Due to urgency, we have provided scanned copy of last month bank statement and original bank statement for other 5 months.

Now, I want to whether I can got for a appeal providing the below

1. Maintenance funds letter from my A-rated sponsor to compensate the rejection point 1 mentioned above

2. Now that I have got original bank statement for september, Submit All Original Bank statements for last 3 or 6 motnhs.

Or, Whether it is better to Re-Apply for Dependant Visa again?

If I can go for appeal, how long will it take for appeal to be addressed ?

Request your help on this. Appreciate quick response. Thanks in advance!!

The reason for the refusal was that £600 has not been maintained in the a/c for 3 days during the 3 months preceding the application.

If this is so then there is no point appealing . Re-apply with the Tier 2 A-rated sponsor providing a written undertaking that, should it become necessary, they will maintain and accommodate your wife for a month

Thanks for the quick reply Manci.

Just one more question..

Can I re-apply immediately after getting the maintenance letter from my Sponsor or do I need to submit Bank statements again with Maintenance letter ?

you can re-apply immediately with the maintenance letter and there is no need for bank statements

Hi Manci,

I have got maintenance letter from my Employer now. I am going to provide the following documents this time

1. Sponsor Letter - Letter from me requesting Visa for dependant
2. My Employment Offer Letter
3. Tenancy Agreement - Address proof
4. Passport and Visa copies
5. Marriage certificate
6. Maintenance from my Employer - A Rated Sponsor - (Alternative to Bank statements. I hope now I need not provide any bank statements now)

Request you to please let me know whether these documents are sufficient or not. Thanks in advance!!
