I am hoping someone can please assist me if they have been in similar situation of needing an 'Unmarried Partner Visa" as a dependant of a Tier 2 ICT (< 3 years).
I have received a work transfer from Australia to England with my company and we are scheduled for biometrics tomorrow. My partner of 9 years would like to join me. We are akin to marriage however we have limited documents to show this.
We have lived together for 6 years now as follows. If anyone can advise of what i should or should not send with this application and any similar success or failures so i know whether to proceed or not. (The other option is a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa however i need to process the Tier 5 within the next week before my partner turns 31 and is no longer eligible) We feel that Tier 2 dependent is the better option but do not want to apply if we do not have a good chance of success.
1) My partner own the 1 bedroom apartment that we have lived in for the past 1 year 10 months.
2) prior to that we lived in the same address for approx 5 years and have bank statements / phone bills addressed individually to us at this address.
3) We have one joint electricity bill from this year and one joint car registration from this year but all other documents are addressed individually to us (but at the same address).
4) I have a stat dec from two others to say that we have been in a loving relationship since 2006.
5) We have individual bank statements that show numerous exchanges between us throughout the past 7 years (showing transfers monthly for rent or utilities or supermarket expenses and other ad hoc items because we share expenses 100% so there are at least 5 transfers between us each month for the past 6 years)
6) We have evidence of me transfering $10000 AUD to my partner when the house was purchased in case she needed extra funds for settlement and for legal fees (approx 1 year 10 months ago)
7) We have bookings for flights showing both our names for holiday in 2010 / 2012 / 2014 to europe together (booking is in my name but shows both our names as passengers)

9) We have 4th year anniversary cards and 1st year anniversary cards and 30th b'day cards sent to each other
10) We have an invitation to a wedding and a 'thank you' card addressed to us jointly for the wedding we attended in France in 2012.
11) Our compulsory superannuation savings accounts which lists the other one as beneficiary and title of 'partner/ or spouse'.
12) my vehicle toll account has my partners vehicle attached to it (it is in my name but we can show that one of the vehicles belongs to my partner and i have paid this since 2008)
Please note that there are no other utilities etc in joint names and no joint bank accounts as we never considered doing this was necessary for our relationship.
I have a COS from my company that says we will be maintained for a two week period and more than ample funds in my bank to show that we could live there for at least 6 months even without my salary that will start as soon as we arrive.
is anyone in a position to offer advice about whether these items will be accepted and if there is anything else we can provide to strengthen our case? I can't live without my partner for 2 years - the longest we have been apart in the last 9 years is a 2.5 week holiday and that was really hard!
Many thanks in advance - my partner biometric appointment is tomorrow and we hope to send documents this week and pay extra money to speed up the process.
