Translations & Working in The UK

Post by philsmith252 » Wed Sep 26, 2007 2:22 pm

Hi There,

I'm an Australian living in Holland and I want to apply for a HSMV. I understand any documents not in English need to be translated and notarised.

I have, however, 50 or so payslips that I want to submit for application, which are in Dutch. They are all more or less the same, with different figures on them apart from the amount of hours I've worked each week and my gross and net incomes and any deductions etc. Basically, the only thing separating them are the figures on them.

Surely I don't have to get every one of them translated for the application. If I could get a template translated that should be enough right?

The same goes for bank statements.

Has anyone been in this boat before?

get one done as an example. You could get the translator to make a note saying the others say the same thing.

We deal with this all the time!
