MTK-KU wrote:Hello, I would appreciate if someone could answer the following question regarding my further leave to remain application:
Q1: How long before I should apply for my further leave to remain as my first FLR (M) is expiring on 7 September 2015? 28 days before
Q2: I want to apply through premium service, can I book my appointment online? Yes. Slots are released onto the system 42 days in advance
Q3: Do I have to pay healthcare surcharge for my another 2.5 years FRL (M), if yes, how much and how to pay this surcharge? Yes online before submitting your visa application. £500
Q4: When my first application (FRL (M)) was approved for 2.5 years on 8 March 2013 I was given an expiry date 8 March 2015, which I thought was wrong and I asked UKBA to correct this to 7 September 2015 and they did at that time. Couple of months later I realised I made a huge mistake as the 2.5 years period starts on the day of application, am I correct? Is there any way I can ask home office to reduce 6 months on my second application for FRL (M) before I apply for ILR? The 2.5 year period starts from the visa issue date, not the application date.
Many thanks.
