Hi,

Mashallah my wife's Visa got approved earlier in the week. What should we expect at the Airport - in Pakistan and UK.
Do they ask any particular questions? Any documents that need to be shown etc.

Thanks muchly - this forum has been great!!

@SHFH - maybe you should try going down if its not too far - I got my processed email after chasing the status and it took around 4 working days to arrivei n Mirpur

I personally think you should go to vac and say I have to collect my passport.
If they ask you that you got call etc before they look into all passports received than say yes.
It does happen due to their laziness

Yes I would have done the same tbh - but probably on Monday if you can be patient that long :)

They must have received it back by now as our replies were a day or so apart.

Thanks sis, I applied on 11th May. took just under 3 months. Do you think they will ask for any documents? Her TB cert will be just out of date (1 week) but it was OK at the time of Visa submission so I'm hoping the airport ppl understand the rules properly!

It's fine most the time they don't even look at it but make sure she has it on her, as long as it was valid at the time of application it's fine and make sure she has some documents with details on it about u and UK address etc

Irrc don't think we can forward any docs once a case has been submitted :(

Not unless ukvi or so ask such docs to be presented to them.

Hi all

My hubby apply last week n no confirmation of passport getting to isb?

Is this normal? Everyone else seems to have heard in 1 or 2 days n we r like waiting 10 days to get email or text after we submit biometrics .

Good luck to all though. This wait is too much

Hello....as far as I'm aware it says valid from
31/7/15 to 31/01/2016, nothing else on it. I think because the type is fiance and only for 6 months, slightly different rules apply. Il double check with my partner anyway. Good luck for Monday
