Help! Urgenrt My delivery might be lost

I posted my supporting documents etc, via Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm Guarantee on Monday. It should have been delivered yesterday .

But it still says that its on its way - also Post office confirmed that it left their building at 3pm on Monday.

I rang Royal Mail, they could only say what was showing on the tracking system, that its on its way and last tracked point was sent at post office, and I have lodged a complaint and they said they will investigate it, to find out what has happened, if it is lost etc.

I understand they will investigate.. But I am very worried now, the documents were all originals etc, and what do I say to the Sheffield Visa Centre also we have the 28 day thing as well.

Now I am worried, I have paid the visa fee and have to start getting the documents like marriage certificate/nikkah namah papers again from Pakistan.

I really need some help and guidance.

28 days is based on the online application when you paid your fees, so it doesn't matter if you send your documents a few days later, most likely it will get there tomorrow.

Why have you not got the papers from Pakistan already? These should have been sent with supporting documents in the first place. I suppose you can send it later, but it would make more sense to send it at the same time.

My apologies - I already have all the papers, I should have explained it more clearly, i meant i would have to request the documents again, IF they are LOST from Pakistan

I have given the Nikkah, TB and English test with everything else, I am just worried if they are lost then would have to get them again from Pakistan

Thank you for that, 28 day rule. Its made me feel a little easy, but I am worried if they have got the documents or not, as my delivery status has not updated since Monday

Oh okay, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow and everything should be okay. Islamabad lost half of my documents including Nikkah Nama, English certificates and TB test so I have had to get these remade and the English certificates haven't come yet (ordered them 29 August), just really worried about it.
