Living with parents - Settlement visa quiery

My wife will be returning to the U.S to submit her settlement visa in January. I planned to go with her so we would be together. This would mean that I don't have a tenancy agreement for us to submit with her application. Is it acceptable to state that we will be living with my parents if she is granted her settlement visa?
The plan would be that as soon as she receives her visa we will return to the UK and will find a place to rent.

Any help would be appreciated

I do meet the financial requirements based on my most recent tax return for April 14 - march 15 which I can backup with bank statements.

So what evidence must I supply in relation to our living situation with my parents?
