Endorsement Page of Employee's Passport

I tried to understand this but still unclear about as what they mean for the Endorsement page

I got copies of my employees passport. Color copy of the page detailing the Passport Number,DOB,Issue Date, Expiry Date etc just the normal Identification page in Passport Document.

When they say Endorsement page what are they actually referring to?

Any body with ILR status will have this but what about British Nationals?

I am thinking to get their Birth Certificates also to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.Any suggestions please

For EU nationals, a copy of the first page which shows their photo and details is enough. The UK government endorsement is usually for non-EU national who received a settled statues endorsement in their passport or travel documents e.g someone who received an old ILR sticker in their passport.
