Moved this to BC forum.Kaba wrote:Hi guys,
Thanks again for all the help I got from this forum and sorry for asking for so many questions.
In terms of English language requirement. If somebody does hold a bsc, msc, phd degree taught in the UK or another degree recognised by Unaric and this is enough to meet the English language requirement, why does section 1.23 exist? I mean the English language test should be in the same section as 1.22, right? Or does it mean that we need to take a test approved by the Home Office and degrees taught in English don't count?
Thanks
Having a UK degree does not exempt you from the English requirement. In this case you use the UK degree to satisfy the English requirment. There is no need for UK Naric or PBS Calculator, just the UK degree will suffice.Kaba wrote:Hi guys,
Sorry for defining the question properly.
What I wanted to ask is: If you hold for example an MSc degree taught in the UK, there is no need to fulfil the language requirement of question 1.23 in the British Naturalization form issued in January 2016. Is that right?
Thanks
An applicant will only fill in Q1.23 if they are using a SELT as proof of English.Kaba wrote:Hi guys,

Yes I think you can.Kaba wrote:Hi there,
