Hello,
My question is am i eligible to apply for naturalization after 1 year of ILR or after 5 years? I got divorce in ILR status. plz tell me what is the rule for my case.

my detail:
I got ILR in March 2015 on the bases of spouse visa (2012 to 2015).
I applied divorce in Aug 2015 in court n got divorce in Jan 2016.

You could have applied as soon as you had 3 years residence (before divorce) if you were married to a British Citizen. But now you can't unless you are married again to another British Citizen.

Now that you are divorced, you will have to wait until you have 5 years residence so you will only qualify in 2017 if you entered the UK in 2012.
