Documents - Child's First Passport

Post by milindsm » Sun Mar 20, 2016 5:35 pm

Hello,

This question might have been asked before so if someone can point me to the topic directly instead of replying, that should be fine. :D

Me and my wife recently got the ILR. Since my son was born in the UK, I registered him as a BC. Now that I have got his registration certificate, I am going to apply for his first passport next week (Post Office Check and Send service). Just wanted to confirm the supporting documents -

1. Application form (of course :P )
2. Two photos (one of them is countersigned)
3. BC Registration certificate
4. Full Birth certificate
5. Passport (I have returned his BRP)
6. Parent's passport (??? not sure about this)
7. Any address proof?

Also, can I opt for different delivery address (say my work address) so that I don't have to take off/work from home.?

Cheers
MSM

Page 12 and 13 of the guidance notes that come with the form clearly state what needs to be submitted for children who are registered as British. Parents passport is not required and neither is proof of address.

Passports are popped through the post box usually when delivered.
