What do you mean by 'acknowledgement letter to apply'???

What is your sons nationality and current immigration status?

What is your immigration status and the other parent immigration status?

Children under 19 are REGISTERED as British NOT naturalised.

He has indefinite visa it's been more than 12 months so now we are planing to apply for Registration but I was confused because my lawyer said that he is waiting for some acknowledgment letter from Home office and than afterwards we will be able to apply for registration. I am his guardian and I have British nationality.i want ed to know how much time will it take to receive this acknowledgement letter.

He is talking nonsense. You don't need anything before you apply if you qualify. You certainly don't need a solicitor to do this application either, he will just charge you a fortune to fill in a simple form.

Does your son have any good character issues or police cautions etc?

What is his nationality?

No, he doesn't have any kind of issues with his character.I researched as well that do we need some kind of acknowledgment letter what I found was that we get this acknowledgment letter after we have submitted the application. Please explain me the whole process of registration for getting British nationality. His nationality is Pakistani.

The only sense I can make of this rather peculiar question is if the other parent has recently applied to naturalise & you think (or have been told) you need some acknowledgement from HO on that other application before applying for son's registration.

- is that what you are asking about :?:
