10 years? Human rights.

Hi, I have been a silent stalker on here for the last two years. Anyway, here is my story.
Came to the UK aged 13 , A relative(UK citizen) applied for ILR which was ultimately rejected(after a 2 1/2 years wait )
Appeal rights exhausted around 2012.
Ok, I don't know what happened after but I think relative applied for reconsideration. .
To be honest, I am not really aware of what happened after 2012 because the relative was dealing with it. (Was still at school)
When I turned 18 in 2014,another application for ILR was submitted.this was again (unsurprisingly) rejected.
Was given appeal rights.
Won both appeals(first teir and upper)under human rights.
This took 2 years(harrowing experience).
Home office have finally acknowledged the decision .I naively thought I would get ILR only found out through this site that's it is 2.5 years.
I had a breakdown after finding out, I will have to deal with the home office again. I have had the worst experience, wouldn't wish it on anyone. Personally,given up on any aspirations I may have held.

my question is can I apply for ILR when I turn 25 (5 years time).. I only have one more year to complete the "half my life rule. Or do I have to wait 10 years, in which I will be 2 years away from the "20 years rule ". .
I know, I am being optimistic because the home office might not grant my subsequent applications.

If you came when you were 13, then surely 'half your life'' wouldnt be until you are 26?

If you came when you were 13, then surely 'half your life'' wouldnt be until you are 26?

Well you fall several years short of the 'half of life' rule and will be 2 years short of the 20 year route. In which case, neither looks an option. You haven't made it clear under what grounds the 2.5 year leave was granted, but one would assume that this could be extended.

Will/may be eligible for ILR in 10 years, so hopefully won't really need the "20year" route.
I did mention appeal was allowed under human rights. I don't know what other grounds there are?
