ILR earnings period

Post by sdr » Wed May 18, 2016 8:47 pm

Hi

I am applying for ILR on May 26, 2016.
I am claiming income for period Feb 27 2015 to Feb 25,2016
My salary payment is credited to my bank account on Feb 25 2016.
My employee has stated in their letter that the period for my earning at work covers Jan 4 2016 to Feb 28 2016, but that I get paid on the 25th of each month.
I have other income previous to Jan.

Can I claim Feb pay (paid on Feb 25th) in my earning period

Does it matter if employer letter says earning period goes to Feb 28, 2016? If I am claiming until Feb 25th

Thanks

Hi,

Why do you need an employee letter for ILR!!!
You need payslips only for the 12 months period, your claiming period Feb 27 2015 to Feb 25,2016 is absolutely fine, you can show all the money deposited in your account between those dates, it can be more than 12 payslips and can be paid on different dates.

Don't put unnecessary documents which leads to further confusion for the Case Worker.

Hi
Thanks for your reply
It was because they decided to go to online system in Feb, and they don't have stamp for my payslip.
So need letter to confirm salary. If I am paid in arrears, then I earn that money on the date of payment, and that is day taxes are taken out.

That's not a problem, even they mention the period of work in their letter.
In the application form, you should fill the from--to dates claimed as Feb 27 2015 to Feb 25,2016 and highlight the deposits in your bank statements, it would be easy for the case worker without confusion.
I hope that does make sense...
