Hi everyone.
My wife is applying for a FLR(M) this week.
However we have one problem. Last year when we were out of the country, our council issued us with a summons to court for not paying the council tax. We did not know about this and it escalated to her being issued a liability order after the court date. When we arrived back in the UK we immediately went to our council and paid off all the council tax and court fees.
Now on the application form, is the liability order considered a county court judgement or a civil penalty?
I've read through the forums, and some said that the LO is not a CCJ nor CP, and that she does not need to declare it.
However, other people have said it is best to declare.
What should we do?
Please answer soon as we need to send off the form this week.
Thanks in advice.
