Marriage certificates

Writing for advice and opinions on what is likely to happen with an application.
We applied for a settlement visa for my wife before knowing of this forum. Checking documents needed we have everything on the lists, but the marriage certificate we supplied was just the original marriage certificate not translated. What is the likely outcome, will they just reject the application, will they accept it because they can read it as the people at processing centre will speak that language, or will we be asked to provide a translation. We have had an email to say that the application is now with an ECO to make a decision, if they ask for a translation we are ready in that we have a stamped translation from an approved translator ready to give them if they ask. Please give your thoughts, Thank you

The application is at the processing centre in bogota and the certificate is in Spanish.

In which case I believe it should be accepted. Are you able to reply to the email address from where the notification came?

I don't know if I can reply to the email address where the email came from as yet. Do you think we should email them and say we have a translation of the certificate or ask if it's required, or wait and see what they say. Because common sense would say they will accept it because they can read it or they would ask for a translation because they have to. But because of the importance of the situation we worry.

Never rely on common sense where the UKVI are concerned. It would be worth emailing to advise them you have a translated copy if required.

Only other thing I was wondering In our covering letter we gave dates of our relationship. We first met in person in the uk in May 2015, stayed in touch via whatsapp and messenger I visited her July/Aug 2016 as friends, she came back to the uk again start of Oct 2016 studying English to b2 level 11 month visa, our relationship blossomed and we moved in together in Nov 2016. We were living together from then until May and decided to marry so we went back to her country and got married.
Now my decree nisi is from March 2016. I didn't talk about details of my divorce in the covering letter just saying that decree nisi was enclosed to show previous marriage dissolved. I was seperated from my ex wife from March 2015 moving out and living with my parents until I rented my own place from sept 2016. I was the petitioner for divorce on grounds of her unreasonable behaviour. So I was seperated when I met my now wife, I was seperated when relationship started with my current wife and divorced when we married.
Do you think the dates could cause any problem without a clear explanation. Or will they be more interested in that current marriage is valid by seeing the decree nisi.

Details of the divorce are irrelevant apart from submitting proof that you were free to marry your wife. I assume by decree nisi that you mean decree absolute?
