BNO holder for work visa

Hi

I am a BNO holder and my friend is a UK citizen who opened a small restaurant and asking me to help to manage the operation. They are willing to be the sponsor for my work visa but doubt that which visa tier I shall apply for and any restriction as a BNO holder to work in UK? i.e. can I work in any job, at any skill level as long as I can get a job (under employment)?

By the way, can I be under a self-employment status, if yes which visa I shall apply for? can I apply the BRP?

AIUI BNO does not convey any right to work in UK. In addition if the employer wishes to sponsor the RLMT will have to be done and no hint of pre-selecion.

Also you can't be self-employed, IR35 etc..

In a word, no.

You might be able to get BC from BNO if you have not other citizenship etc, I'd wait for others on that, a lot of criteria to fulfil.
