ILR BRP received with documents No Passports..!!

Hello All,

Today we received my wife's documents along with BRP card and letter from UKVI case worker that her application for ILR has been approved. No passport/s received. There is no contact number / email address on the letter to contact case worker. Does any ne have contact details of Sheffield PSC? As the letter has Sheffield address.

How do we contact UKVI to inquire about her passport?

Very unusual as I have never seen anybody receiving BRP first and not passport.

Any suggestions / advice will be much appreciated.

Supporting documents including passport are normally sent separately. If you applied by post and also included a self-addressed return envelope (special delivery with tracking) then you could try tracking it. If no envelope was included then I suspect they would be sent by standard second class post (as done with all HO correspondence), but am not positive about this.

I've made a couple of visa applications like this in the past and this was how I tracked the return of my passport and supporting docs.

Thank you for your reply. It was PSC in person application, now we have a decision with BRP and documents. Do you suggest contacting UKVI call centre will be any helpful?

Not sure, but you could try. If you applied in person, then I would have expected the supporting documents to be returned on the same day, unless perhaps there was a delay in the decision? When I applied in person, everything was returned on the same day.

If documents are sent by second class post, then it's possible that you would need to allow a few days to receive them. How was the BRP delivered? Was it by DXSecure?
