ILR For Partner

Post by wandrerInd » Sat Aug 06, 2016 4:03 pm

Hello,
I am applying for ILR this October as I have completed 5 years on Tier 2 General visa and hope to apply for UK citizenship next year. My wife is also on Tier 2 General Visa (Not Dependent) and has been in UK for 2 years now. When I apply for ILR we will complete 5 months of marriage.

I request your advice to understand what is the earliest my wife can apply for ILR?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Once she's completed 5 years of residence on her current visa. Marriage won't give her any special concession to early settlement.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
