Dependant of LTR ILR Holder

Post by info4pratt » Tue Aug 09, 2016 11:50 am

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything mirroring my current situation.

I am currently a Tier 2 General Visa holder and will become eligible to apply for my ILR through the 10 year Long Term Resident route in 20 days' time. My wife is currently my dependant, and her visa runs out on the 16th of November this year.

I have booked a Premium appointment for my ILR on the 14th of Sept, so hoping for a quick positive same day decision.

Firstly, can I apply for my wife's dependant visa to be moved to a Family of a Settled Person's visa alongside my application on the 14th of Sept? Or do I need to wait for my ILR card to arrive first and then look to apply for a separate appointment for my wife for her visa?

Secondly, which application form would I need to look into for my wife's visa to be switched to a Family of a Settled Person's visa?

Many thanks.

FLR(M) will reset your wife's immigration clock to zero, putting her on a new 5 year route to ILR (2.5 + 2.5). She will also have to pay the £500 NHS surcharge online before submitting the application. The premium fee will be £1311.
(Casa, not CR001)
