Requesting receipt/proof of payment from Home Office

Post by LightYear20 » Thu Sep 01, 2016 8:25 pm

Hi all,

I applied for Tier 1 (General) Visa ILR this year (application submitted early April, documents received in last week if August).

My company promised to sponsor my application financially, but I had to apply for ILR myself first. Now that I have received these documents - although home office did not provide any proof of payment, I want to request for a receipt from home office - as that is what my company require before they can approve any form of reimbursement.

Can anyone advise me how I can get a receipt from home office for my ILR application??

Thanks

I have no problem understanding your post. You may find it a lengthy process (if not impossible) to get the HO to provide you with a receipt.

How did you make the payment? If it was by credit or debit card perhaps your employer will accept a statement as proof.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I paid £1875 to home office as part of my ILR application but I did not received any receipt or proof of payment from them when they took the money. I need some form of payment receipt from Home Office to claim for reimbursement from my company. Who should I contact in Home Office to get the proof of payment for this £1875 I paid?

Sorry :(
This was another sign of bad processor, start work with default info without considering all but noted now. :)
