I am from Thailand so I need a student visa and I had a BRP card to go with it. Furthermore, to go on this ski trip I need to apply for a Schengen visa which require me to hand in my passport, my BRP card along with other documents.
I did this with the TLS contact group in London. Process went smoothly and the application was successful with my passport being posted back to my university.
Problem is, my BRP card is missing, it is nowhere to be found. Is this normal? I need the BRP card to return back to the UK after leaving here for France, which means I can't go on the trip without it. What should I do?
Thank you very much
Have you proof you sent BRP to agency?
Proof they sent it back?
Tracking # for that (separate) package?
Have you followed up with uni admin office/mail room?
If its lost (not delayed/sent under separate cover) you will have to report it as lost asap.
Firstly, thank you very much for helping. I have proof that I have submitted an application to the agency for my visa, and I now have a schengen visa thanks to that application, an application which require my BRP. Apart from that I have no further proof...
I have got proof they sent it back with my passport, the email confirmation and the packaging.
There isn't seem to be any further packages to be sent to me.
I have not followed up with my uni yet although I've looked at the mail room again and again in case I've dropped it or something.
I am going back to where I submit my application in London on Monday (they're closed weekdays so I can't go sooner) to speak to them. I dont know whether that will be helpful. If that fail then Ill give it a search in case I accidentally dropped it from the package or something. Then I'll report it lost.
If I report it lost does this mean I wont be able to make the ski trip in two weeks? Its incredibly fustrating because I didn't lose it because of my fault, its because of the agency which I contacted to get the visa to go to France in the first place
Anyway thank you again for helping me out.
