On the page - FAMILY DETAILS --> SPOUSE/ PARTNER

Whose details should be given this is section. Either the Main Applicants' or Dependants ?

If you are filling your wife application then you should write her family details , like in partner ( your details ) in father - your wife father details, in Mother - Your wife mother details.

In main applicant section - your details should be written

Case: My Wife is in UK working for A-rated Sponsor. And I am applying for PBS TIER-2 General Dependent from my Home Country. While filling the online application form -two pages are slightly confusing. I need your help in understanding them.

Page 2: MAIN APPLICANT -->ABOUT MAIN APPLICANT -->[Should it be my details(husband/dependent) or my Wife's details?]

So as per your advise:

Main Applicant details should be my wifes as she is the sponsor as is in UK working A-Rated Company.

Spouse /Partner details should be filled with MY- passport, parents -Mother,Father details etc.

However Casa said it in reverse, perhaps taken me as the Sponsor. But anyways thanks a lot.

I'll be back with few more questions - please bear with even if though seem simple but I'm being little cautious of not getting my application returned down for these matters.

If you are applying for the dependent visa then YOU are the main applicant.

Spouse/Partner details will be your WIFE is she is the main Tier 2 visa holder.

Had you stated in your first post that YOU are applying for the dependent visa, accurate advice would have been given

CR001, Yes . I am applying for dependent visa. My wife is Tier 2 General Visa holder. So my question now is

In the Main applicant section: ABOUT MAIN APPLICANT - we have the following fields
1. Family name /Surname
2. Given Name/Forenames
3. Date of Birth
4. Place of birth
5. Gender
6. Nationality
7. Current Passport or Travel Document Number
8. Place of Issue
9.Issuing Authority
10. Date of Issue
11. Date of Expiry
12. Are you accompanying the main applicant or joining them later?
13. How are you related to the main applicant?
14. Does the main applicant have a Certificate of Sponsorship or Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies number?
15. Please enter the CoS/CAS number
16. Is the main applicant living in the UK?
17. What permission do they have to stay in the UK?
18. What job/course of study is the main applicant doing in the UK?
19. What is the address where the main applicant works or studies?
20. What is the start date of the job or course
21. What is the end date of the job or course
----- End of list ---
According to your advise this list should be filled with main applicant details - but I'm a Dependent. How would I give my Cos and other work related details here, it doesn't make sense.

And you say in Spouse/Partner section they should be my WIFEs details as she is Tier 2 Visa holder. So you mean that I have to give her -marital status, her passport, address, Father, Mother etc.

I hope you can help now as I have given all my questions here.

Part 6 About the Main Applicant: Your wife details as she is the Main Visa Holder.

The online form prompts you 1st for your details travel docs etc, then your family details and then the details of the main tier 2 visa holder.

I have a question with regards to Tier 2 dependant online application form
I had been issued post study work permit in 2012 ,which got expired in 2014 and I came back to India.I got married and now I am applying for Tier 2 dependent visa. So for the question under personal details and travel history - "Have you made an application to the Home Office to remain in the UK in the last 10 years?"
Is my answer supposed to be Yes or No.
If Yes what are the details that I have to provide?
Can anyone please reply to my question soon as I am gonna submit my form today..

I'm stuck on the same situation as you.

My husband is on a TIer 2 General Visa and works in the UK. I'm applying for a dependant visa now.

Did you ended up putting the Main Application with your details. In my case should it be my details?
It start to not make sense from question 12 onwards.

If i put the main application as my husband, and then submit the form, the next step is to sign the declaration which I've tried, but it then asked for my BRP location to select which picked up the COS of my husband from the Main Applicant section. Getting more confused.

Will you be able to share what you've gone through in the end?
