travelling on student visa advise needed

Post by tcpip_helper » Thu Mar 30, 2017 3:30 pm

Hello all,

posting on behalf of my friend as below,
I was on student visa which was valid till Jan 2018 but I got ILR in Aug 2016. My wife is still on student dependent visa valid till Jan 2018 living and working in UK and did not change to FLR(m) yet. My question is can she travel on current visa or she has to change prior to travelling? what is the requirement as per immigration law?
Many thanks all for your help.

Regards,

If your 'friend' got ILR based on 10 years long residence, his wife should switch FLR(M) before traveling.
