Tier 1 Entrepreneur

Post by YTEMIOLAD » Mon May 08, 2017 7:55 pm

Hi All,

I put in my tier 1 entrepreneur extension Feb 11 , application fee hit my account on 14th feb , Biometric letter / post office Biometric 3 weeks later , but I have not heard anything from the home office not even a letter to advise me that it would take longer than usual. Does anyone know if I need to call the home office . Its been 12 weeks now since my application . Does anyone have home office direct line to call for this enquiry ?

If you read the posts on the forum, you see that applications can take from 8 weeks to several months to be decided. Complex applications can take from 8-10 months :!:

My case is veeerrry straight forward , nothing in anyway is complicated about it ... no dependants... everything is straightforward and I also put in some stickers to point attentions to necessary relevant stuff as listed in the policy guidance .
Mgt accounts, Company house docs, 50k trf from personal to company (both company and personal statement of accounts) clearly evident, 2 employees enrolled for 14 months and all tax paid, PAYE, VAT , corporation tax .... application form carefully completed , all documents labelled , addition documents i.e. cheques , invoices , all signed , Monthly payroll RTI etc . all documents listed in the policy guidance ... no complexity whatsoever ...

At least I would expect some sort of letter from the home office advising that decision would take longer , but nothing through the post .

so extremely worried .

You listed all documents you have submitted, but unfortunately no one can help you in this issue, I hope you hear from them next days, they have thousands of applications,
you said that you labeled all required documents,,,, HO does not care about that.
As a silent old member, you can search in the forum and see the other members' cases.
Thanks

The OFFICIAL time frame is 8 weeks, generally assuming from the date of Biometrics . You have barely reached 8 weeks mark in total :!: :!:
It is not up to you to decide if your application is straightforward or complex or requires more investigations. It is up to the case worker.
Most applications will take much much longer these days.

Its exactly 12 weeks now . But I do understand that the HO has a footfall of applications to deal through .
I guess i'd have to wait till something drops through the post .

Thanks Guys
