URGENT HELP..More documents requested from home office

Post by Lamboli » Thu Jul 13, 2017 3:39 pm

My husband's salary exceeds the financial requirement of £18,600 and because he does over time, his pay varies monthly. We chose category A on the application form. But we are now being asked for my supporting documents because he took 2 weeks paternity leave and then another 2 weeks unpaid time off in Feb. So his gross pay for the last 6 months:

Jan= 1732.92
Feb= 1303.36
Mar= 2172.92
Apr= 1861.11
May= 1789.26
June= 2009.26

Can anyone let us know how much they are looking for from my self employment to make up for Feb? Just want to make sure we have everything covered.

Thank you

I think the HO might have taken the lowest wages figures if you had chosen salaried person and that might be the reason the caseworker asking as how to meet the shortfall by your income. But based on the wages figures you given if non-salaried person route is being chosen then the financial threshold can easily be met although the form is bit tricky which doesn't have separate box/option for non-salaried but still I believe it should be indicated by covering letter/additional info section @ form.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Yes we chose the salaried option.
Is there any way to work out what figure they are looking for from me to make up the shortfall?
Thank you

Any help on this please? Or a point in the right direction of where to look would be great. Thanks
