Clarification on financial requirement for FLM(R)

I am a bit confused on the financial requirement for FLM( R).
I am on a tier 2 and switching to a spouse visa( dependant of someone settled in the U.K. ). On my own, I met the financial requirement (18,600). Does my spouse has to show proof that he meets the financial requirement as well? Or mine is enough ? We do not have children yet. Thank you

Your income alone can be used. 6 months pay slips and 6 months bank statements plus an employer letter.
