Salary requirements for ILR

Post by KVS » Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:48 am

Hi,

I am currently working under the Tier 2 sponsorship work visa. I plan to apply for ILR in 2020.
My employer has a tie-up with a nursery/daycare - employees who decide to use this get the benefit of having to pay less towards the expenses of daycare.
If I decide to use this, the money will be deducted from my basic salary directly and my basic salary will not meet the required minimum value of £35,800.

Do you know if the payments my employer is making towards the daycare will be considered for calculating my basic pay?

Thanks.
Regards,
KVS

Tier 2 salary threshold is generally based on your basic gross pay (as per COS), not any deductions made later by the employer from such pay lets say towards taxes, NI, pension, etc
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice
