Hi everyone - is there any prescription for this waiting game as it really getting tough waiting with no clue.

My application was on 24th July
Status updated on 12th October to Decided showing from 14th October
Was told letter was posted on 13th that is over a week yet to recieve any letter.

The waiting game plays on my emotion - can someone give me a prescription or a hug

i know how it feels....I have applied on 18-May and still no result.....
So imagine what type of prescription will i require...

From what I can see on the forum, May Applicants have been badly hit interms of waiting time.To see that July and August Applicants are getting 'decisions' already while some May applicants are still waiting is just beyond reason.I won't be surprised if it is a particular individual that is sitting on May Applications.
It will be shocking to learn that they cherry pick which application to deal with first before another.
Good luck to any May Applicant still waiting.I guess everything on earth has an expiry date.

Applied on 19th May with acknowledge on 02nd June. Finally my status has changed to "decided" on 21st October.

Same here.. and I'm not australian. I still have to take 10 days on holidays before the end of the year and wanted to visit family as well but with this wait you cannot really make any plans

Can I check public ceremony dates of another County?

No. The process involved to change ceremony is long and tiring. You have to request it to HO to change ceremony venue. The council then have to return your certificate to HO and HO then take however long to send it on to your other choice of council.

Why? Is it the end of the world? Dont worry , These things are beyond any one's control, So please be patient!

2) Any communication from their side? Email or SMS or somewhere can we track the progress? Dispatch? Did you not write the number down of your passport application form?? You will get an SMS from HMPO anyway.

This is really frustrating to wait for application decision and then again wait for Ceremony date which is more than a month. Ripping another £££ to book a private ceremony ((

Hi guys.

Is it normal that I was given a case ID number for this service but I applied for a settlement visa?
It was refused initially but I won the appeal and the HO send a letter to my solicitor on the 19th of July with this case ID number.
When I enter this number it says there 'awaiting a decision' - and this case was considered on the 17th of July!!!
My appeal was allowed on the 5/06/2017 ; what's this service got to do with appeals?

Navin, I just spoke with a friend who applied on 9th May, he is also waiting . So looks like April/May applicants had max wait time
