ILR - Successful PEO Tier 2 route

Post by cerus » Thu Oct 26, 2017 1:23 pm

Hello everyone,

I’m glad to inform you that my PEO for ILR (Tier 2 route) was successful at Croydon.
And I’m surprised to receive BRP in 2 days :)

Thanks to each and everyone in this forum to help me out with my questions.
I really owe you.
Much appreciated.
I would like to provide any information if need be.

At the moment, I’ve a question:

Got BRP, but validity on it is for 7 years that is till 2024.
Honestly, I’m not sure what I should expect in terms of validity.

Should it be for 10 or some X number of years?
Do I need to renew when it expires?
Have rules changed?

Could please anyone suggest.

Thanks in advance.

2024 is the year the EU has set for all biometric documents (passports and BPR cards) to be upgraded with enhanced security features. Similar to the way passport designs change every few years.

Nothing has changed in the rules. You simply renew the card if you are not planning to apply for citizenship.

Many congratulations.
Do you mind to give details of documentation you provided, including dependents( in case you applied)
I am due in February, apprehensive about the documentation part.
Thanks

Hi
Congrats on successful outcome of your application.
I also have the ILR-BRP card with expiry date in 2024. Was confused initially but now I know that we just renew it the way we renew passports :)

1. Payment Detail section - Can we leave it blank or do you filled this though you paid Online? and what proof you showed for Payment, is it the email what we will receive when we book the appointment?

2. Have you applied with dependents?

Many Thanks in advance.

hi

@kumar16,

Yes, Payment section need to be left empty if you are going for PEO. They will ask for payment confirmation print out when you first go on reception. (Permanent confirmation you can print out from your account on gov.uk when you have paid for PEO)

-Applied alone, no dependant as she is not eligible at this point.

@kantanayi,

Yes, mine is UK degree. So I provided it.
In your case, you've to do Naric.

P60 - Not mandatory, but good if you can.

Absences letter - Yes mandatory. Doesn't matter you had 20-30 days leave. I had never gone past 30 days in a year.

Hope it helps.
