URGENT!!

My husband has his biometrics done on the 18th October 2017. We paid priority. Please be aware that our decision hub is Warsaw, not Sheffield.

I have just logged into the teleperformance website and it has the box ticked for recieved by UKVI. It has been like this for a while. However just now, there is a tick on 'Passport returned'.... There is no tick next to decision made. What is going on??? I have recieved no emails to say decision has been made nor that my passaport is reasy for collection.

I am so anxious right now. What does this mean?

Im extra anxious at the fact that it hasnt been that long since i submitted - does this mean refusal. Our case is straight forward. We went theough cash saving route

Unless I missed something, this is not possible. All spouse visas are decided in Sheffield. In relation to your main question, get in touch with the visa centre to find out more and do not speculate before you will receive your passport back. However, I agree that it sounds very very strange!

TLS always send an email about all changes, so it may be a glitch in the system.

Do successful applicants need to bring anything other than our passport when they arrive in UK?
Take the original TB certificate, if you submitted it initially.
Is this essential we bring TB certificate?

Anything else we need to bring?

I am not a psychic to guess where you have applied, so open their website and check contact details.

Congratulations. As far as i know you just need TB certificate and passport. if you don't have valid TB certificate you can obtain one for free at the airport upon your arrival, but this could take time as you would have to queue up for Xray, etc. best to bring along a valid one with yourself. I believe TB certificates are only valid for 6 months.

Correct, TB certificates are only valid for 6 months - bring the TB certification and passport - that's all you'll need.

Here's hoping we see loads of decisions this week, Sheffield have had enough of our time.

I noticed lots of people got their documents back from sheffield a short time after biometrics.
My husband didnt get his documents back and we r on day 80. Does that mean anything?
I'm near day 60 and have not received any of my documents back yet. I did receive a "case to straightforward email" on Friday 27/10/2017. I applied on 1/8/2017, biometrics on 10/8/2017 and my package was received by Sheffield on 17/8/2017. Has your husband received his documents back yet?
Sry just noticed this response
No he hasnt recieved anything yet
I call ukvi every ten days to check on my status everytime its a different answer.
Last answer i got is my desicion is delayed due to backlog of applications that were not looked in till august.
Makes me so sad, even more so as all the stores are putting up holiday decorations and I don't want to miss another Christmas with my fiancee. I'd trade all my worldly processions just to be able to be with him. Hope we all hear good news soon.

You have to be patient...very patient. I haven't seen my other half since October 2016! Missed our first anniversary and both birthdays as husband and wife! We applied in early March 2017, have had nothing apart from the 31st October email.
There have been some users who waited a lot longer than us and some who have applied before us are still waiting.
So be patient, pray and have happy thoughts...

Hi
I can understand the pain me too in same situation. Didn't hear anything from HO. I did my online application on 28th June 2017 and biometrics was on 7th July 2017. Since then still waiting. I just contacted HO once and they said still processing. Also, I didn't see anyone here from Sri Lanka receiving decisions recently. I don't know what to do and how long we have to wait for our decisions. We can only do waiting. I hope we all hear good news very soon. Hope for the best.

Turns out that my application was considered in Warsaw. I got confirmation of this. There is currently a transition of settlement visas. The future goal is to get all settlement visas considered and decided in Sheffield, however this is still in progress.

Glitch was actually not an error. A decision has been made and yesterday the passport was collected from Warsaw embassy. I have been very lucky to wait less than 15 working days (Paid priority) . Hopefully good news...
