There is no requirement in the immigration rules that you should update the SIC codes. I am not sure if even any other requires it. If your main business has changed, it makes sense to update it - it can be done online, it does not cost anything, it can changed over and over again. So far, in all the interviews that others have shared here, I don't remember SIC codes being asked about at all.Globe Trotter wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 2:29 amSorry Zimba for not making myself clear.
What I meant was "Do I need to update the nature of business (SIC) on Companies House website?
For example: 80100 - Private security activities. This is done when I plan to open a security services business.
Now If I sell multiple products like footwear as well as electronics on Amazon, do I need to update each and every category on companies house, e.g.
46520 - Wholesale of electronic and telecommunications equipment and parts,
46420 - Wholesale of clothing and footwear
I hope I was able to convey my query.
Many thanks.
This is irrelevant to immigration rules. If your nature of business changes, you need to deal with companies house. Seek business advice from your accountantGlobe Trotter wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 2:29 amSorry Zimba for not making myself clear.
