processing visa time?

Post by pinkuk » Mon Mar 31, 2008 11:22 am

does anyone know how long is the processing time for a visitor visa?(i might need my passport back to travel )
it says on the website it takes 5 days to okay it , but it might take up to 4 weeks to issue it and post it back.
what are you experiences?
thanks

so , no one here has ever traveled to the us, neither as had any experience on getting visas to the us. neat.

hardly none of these posts get any answers /replies.

i sort of got my answers the hard way , by actually going to the embassy myself.

i dont find the point of posting on this board when no one has a simple answer to a simple question. disappointing really.

It may have been helpful if you had also mentioned your location.

Assumptions like that really make this job suck. Our business happened to develop into a largely UK-based service, but we do, in fact, cover visas & permits to most of the world. Our frontpage should demonstrate that. Sorry it isn't more clear:

http://www.workpermit.com

As far as this forum, again, we have no control over the people who join. Over the years, largely by chance, we happened to develop into a UK-centric forum.

I've been trying to change that over the past two years, but we are battling momentum & perception.

I'd also point out that if someone were to search our forum for an answer to these questions, they would likely find this topic, but not find an answer. The forum is constructed as a resource by the community for the community.
