URGENT: PBS Extension maintainence funds in two accounts

Hi Guys, fairly urgent situation hence posting a concise version off an earlier post.

For PBS visa extension for my wife, I am showing maintenance funds in my account. However, there has been an instance in the 90 day period where the minimum requirement dropped below threshold of 630£. However, the funds in her account cover for the shortfall if we add both accounts as the money available. Note, its not a joint account.

Would that be valid for the application OR only a single account must be maintained for 90 days with the required funds?

It's fine to show the amount from two separate accounts as long as the total is more than what's required.

I called up UK visa help center today.
On the first call I was told that wouldn't be an issue and to add both account statements and provide a cover letter explaining the issue.
However, on calling again after a while for clarification, someone else answered the call and said, only a single account is allowed ( I cannot combine my wife and my account statement to show evidence of maintenance funds !
