My employer has not appointed a lawyer for the company and they are doing lot of mistakes and I am waiting for last three months only because they are making errors ,I m already working in UK from last two years and all three months they have applied for RCOS instead of UCOS. Guys, please suggest is it RCOS or UCOS?
The CoS threads per month are for RCoS only, applications outside the UK.

UCoS is for application within the UK and are not usually subject to the same scrutiny as RCoS.

Thanks for your reply. My application is an In-country switch (tier 2 change of employment) my employer applied RCOS for the last 3 times. I have emailed them that I need to UCOS instead of RCOS, It's a shame to explain all this to a A-rated sponsor.

Are you already on a tier 2 visa or switching from a tier 4 visa? Them you would require an unrestricted CoS.

Sorry I just read your message completely and you said that you are applying for a tier 2 change of employer. So yes it should be an unrestricted CoS and you should not have a problem obtaining it unlike the current scenario with restricted CoS.

Can you please either carry on in a topic on your application you already have or start a new one and refrain from persisting with questions in this one. This topic is for RCOS ONLY, which is applications from outside the UK.

Usually HO updates the stats by end of the week or after 8-9 days this month it's been almost 2 weeks and no update. That too when the RCOS issued less compared to any other month.

People can give you a prediction that can comfort you or one that can stress you out. In the end they remain just that, predictions.

There are too many variables to factor in to make a prediction in my opinion like the nurse recruitment, pending backlog etc. Best thing to do is wait patiently till April 11th when people start to get their CoS to see what the score is like.

Hey guys, does anyone know anything about nurses potentially being taken off the general allocation or any action being taken to solve this issue? I’m on 34 points, trying since December.

From my understanding, we should ideally be hearing something this week regarding the rule changes to the quota limit or any changes to the current system for the new allocation year (Apr 2018 - Mar 2019).

Please do share any info that you get. They might publish the stats online today.

Hi,

Does anyone know what the Minimum score for March 2018 was? I've seen some people get rejected on 55 (non-skilled). Is it safe to assume that it was 60?

Thank you

Hi everyone.

I've been refused 3 times with 31 points, not on the SOL, not PhD level role.
My employer is looking to raise my base salary to £45K-£50K and has advertised the job again at £45K-£50K.

The Lawyer seems to think that with £45K and £50K is under the same points -45 points.

The following is from the Lawyer :
The maximum score for the salary for the recruiters meeting the criteria via the Resident Labour Market test (Advertising) is 25 points and the salary cap is £45,000 to £49,999.99. There are 20 points added for advertising, total 45 points. 25 points is the maximum to be granted in line with the table. The salary cap £50,000 to £54,999.99- 30 points refers to those jobs at PhD level.Nurses score even higher than PhD jobs as they are listed as Shortage occupation jobs and score 130 points plus points for salary.

This doesn't seem to be in line with what I have been reading up on here. But I don't have any official documents to validate my point. (On the home office points guideline page it reads up as the points are capped at £49999 with RLMT jobs.) We are making a new application for April this week so I wanted to see if anyone here can help to validate this so that I have a better chance to get the CoS in April since it doesn't seem like 45 points is going to make it for next month.

Thank you so much!
