Yes. That answer is not that important
The FPS requirement is "These must show every payment made to each settled worker as well as any deductions."sm12 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:20 pmThe payroll software that I use is not showing the pay after deducting pensions in the FPS. It is only showing Net Pay and Other Deductions (the amount of pension contributed by the employee is listed here). There is no employer's contribution to pension listed in the FPS report either. This information and the pay after pension deductions is only showing on the payslip. Is this something that is acceptable or should the full pension breakdown be on the FPS. I imagine the lack of details has to do with the fact that the FPS goes to the HMRC and not the Pensions Regulator.
My payroll software is the same as the one I used at the time of extension but at that time there were no pensions to consider.

It appears, from your description, that the requirement is met.

Thank you for replying.
The actual payment made by bank transfer is not on the FPS. ==> That is immaterial
The Net Pay on the FPS is before the pension deduction. ==> Meets the requirement
And right under that it says Other Deductions, which shows the employee's pension contribution. ==> Meets the requirement
The pay after deducting this contribution is not listed. ==> That is immaterial
And the employer's pension contribution is not on the FPS, but only on the payslips. ==> That is immaterial. It is not payment to employee.
Should I try another software? Not sure if it's worth all the hassle it will cause.
Thank you again.marcnath wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 9:46 pmsm12 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:33 pmHi Marcnathmarcnath wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:06 pmThe FPS requirement is "These must show every payment made to each settled worker as well as any deductions."sm12 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:20 pmThe payroll software that I use is not showing the pay after deducting pensions in the FPS. There is no requirement to have start date in the FPS any more.
Thank you.
