In my experience, in the first 2 or 3 working days higher point applications will be sorted (shortage occupations)
Starting 4th working day from 11th (i.e. from 16-May), non shortage occupations get to hear their news.
So you can seriously watch out this thread post 15-May

I am a new graduate with 35k as a base pay and 5k as flex allowance - will it be counted as 40k?
Also I heard that graduates who got RLMT through Milkround get extra points. If its a graduate position at BP does it mean it's likely to be through Milkround?
not sure about ur second question, but for first one - if your allowance categorised as guaranteed, then yes to 40K, otherwise 35K

The immigration lawyers don’t know any more than we do about this. Obviously we’re all expecting the points will be high anyway given recent trends and the backlog but really any “news” from immigration lawyers is just predictions/guesses like anyone else could make.

When will the results start coming in..really eager to get some news
Since the cap has been repeatedly oversubscribed we rarely hear anything on the first day, and given it’s Friday I wouldn’t expect to hear much until next week.

Hi Everyone. New member with query here. My profession is in skill shortage list and my employer said they will apply for my RCoS in May. When should I start bugging my employer for any update? How long it usually takes before my CoS is ready and I may start preparing for my visa application. I am applying visa with my wife so what sort of documents Home office usually requires for married couples? We have a FRC (Family registration certificate) issued by government of Pakistan and my wife's CNIC and passports are issues against my name as her husband. Anything else I should be collecting for our visa application and can we apply for TB test date only after submitting online application or can we do that before that as well? Any help would be appreciated.

FYI - May 2018 allocations have begun.
After 5 months and two failed RLMTs...
I just received a call from my employer, and they received my RCoS today.
Point total is 75

Here is the information link :

Also note that this thread for RCoS, not for VISA, hence you might need to search/post in another thread.

Could somebody explain please what is exactly RLMT through Milkround that gives 30 points instead of 20? Is it basically graduate jobs that appeared there?

@Fractalo: It basically does mean that. A milkround is when companies tour university campuses to recruit students. I assume that they're given more points because graduate jobs will typically score less from the salary points column.

Question - if your job has been advertised as a range ie £40,000-35,000 does this mean that your points can be calculated off the higher amount? Or do the points get calculated from the exact salary that an employer is actually offering a particular candidate?
