Applying for citizenship after BRP expiry

My daughter's BRP is expiring on 3rd September and she is on ILR. She is returning back from India to the UK on 2nd September.

1. Will this be an issue at the immigration considering the expiry is on 3rd September?
2. I am planning to apply citizenship for myself and my daughter by 1st week of september in which case the BRP would have expired for her. Will this affect citizenship application considering her BRP had expired?
