Query: SMS subscription after biometrics - India

Is it possible to opt for SMS alert after biometrics appointment? Due to some reasons, I didn't opted for SMS alerts at the VFS center.
I noticed that there is a payment option on VFS website to opt for services. However, I am not sure whether this subscription can be done after the document submission? Did anyone tried subscribing for SMS alerts after biometrics or it is only valid only before the appointment date? Please share your views.

where in Bangalore you submitted?
if in Whitefield - premium centre, then sms, courier are included by default. if it is other centre, then you may have to pay to opt it during biometrics.
And if u missed it then, no chance to get it now
