Good character and naturlisation

Post by asamant18 » Sat Aug 25, 2018 7:17 am

Hello everyone ,
first of all a big thank you to all of the members sharing their experiences and helping other pave the path to a successful application.

I'm due to apply for Naturalisation in October and had few doupts hoping someone would have answers to them.
Long story short:- I came to uk on a student visa in 2010.Had 10 hours work allowed.Did my studies and took employment not exceeding 10 hours.however this was a cash in hand job and i doupt they used NI.
Extended Student visa in 2012 but college licence was revoked where i received a letter from HO to re-apply or leave within 28 days.During that time i was in a relationship with an EEA national and we got married which was already being planned.Got my EEA residence permit in 2013 for 5 years.
However , Things didn't go to plan and marriage ended in a divorce after our child who was 1 year old.I successfully applied for EEA extention after divorce and no problem.Last year had my PR approved too.

My queryies are.
1) I Was arrested on Oct 2015 while an argument broke out with my ex wife and she called the police on me who then arrested me and kept me at the station ovr night and after an interview session i was released the next day with a bail paper issued to me for the following month. My Ex then called the officer and requested that it was just a misundertanding and that she is happy for me to return home to which the officer with a big smile came home and returned me my phone but did not give further info.I showed up at police station following month in nov and was told to go home with a paper saying " NO FURTHER ACTION NEEDED".
*Do i need to declare this on my application? i'm confused as to what can i call it Warning,Caution etc.an how can i declare this as?
as 3 years have passed this incident ( i was arrested on 30th Sep and released on 1 Oct )is it safe to apply or will i be judged anyhow on this?
2)Do i need to provide my ex-wife's work Doc P60's etc? She has recently Naturalised and we are on very good terms.
3)Also, i'm living with a family who isn't very happy for me to use their address for any official purpose. Can i use my friends address and have all my letters directed to my work place ( they are happy with it).Is this a possibilty or does HO judge on something like that.It does give u option online to say which council would u like to have the ceremony and your correspondence letters.
4)What other documents apart from the one listed that i should enclose if any?

Any other advice would be really beneficial.BTW i have never breached ny immigration law nor had any other experience with the law but the only one i stated above.

first of all we need to know some information more :
when your first visa exp in 2010?MY FIRST VISA EXPIRED ON FEB 2012
when your visa extended in 2012?FEB 2012 AND THEN MY COLLEGE LOST LICENSE ON SEP.MARRIED IN SEP AND THE VISA WAS GRANTED ( eea2 )
when the HO send the letter ? THEY SENT LETTER MID OF SEPTEMBER ASKING TO RE-APPLY TO NEW COLLEGE WITHIN 28 DAYS OR LEAVE.THE LETTER WAS DATED 21 SEP, FEW DAYS BEFORE MARRIAGE
when did you married ? 27 SEP 2012 ( EEA2 GRANTED 2 FEB 2013 )

Alos,i received my ACRO report and it does show my details of arrest.i was arrested on 30 sep 2015 and released next day. However on report it shows 1 oct 2015 and says Disposal history as NFA ( no further action needed,Bail cancellation Letter issued on 15/10/2015 ) Offence reported as Common Assault.

I have a NDRS appointment on 14th of this month.
Do you think i should declare this on my application?
Do i stand a chance of approval/or will this be taken into account as its quite close to 3yr rule?
Is this classed as Caution or?
