Travelling with out naturalisation cert and no brp using an old passport

Hi everyone

I'm writing hoping someone can give me an advise or somehow been through the same situation. I been grant with my naturalisation on august2018, i received my certificate right after and applied for passport immediately ,unfortunately the passport office returned my application because on my naturalisation certificate my middle name which is my (mum's maiden name) was not included when they printed it. So my name from my old Filipino passport and naturalisation are not matching due missing name .Never thought it will give me so much stress . We returned the naturalisation certificate to the home office to rectified their mistake on 4th of October 2018 . We wrote to them several times but no answer, my dilemma is I'm due to travel on the 30th of December to join my family for my father's death anniversary, and the only travel document I have is my old Filipino passport . I have returned my BRP right after they grant my citizenship and may naturalisation certificate is with the home office .

I don't know if i can travel only with that old passport and not having a BRP or Naturalisation cert to present on my way back here to UK.

Without a valid BRP the airline is unlikely to allow you to travel on the return journey to the UK.
