Hi all! I am due to apply for ILR (Spouse) on March 2019. I just want a bit of guidance and clarification on a few things as I am planning to start gathering the documents needed for the said application.
1. I came to the UK on December 2010 on Student Visa. I applied and have been granted spouse visa on March 18, 2014. Granted further leave to remain on September 17, 2016. My current visa will expire on March 18, 2019, where I will be eligible to apply for ILR. Am I right to think that I can start to apply for ILR on February 18, 2019 as I am allowed to apply 28 days before my visa expiry?
2. I went on Maternity Leave on March 2018. Will this affect my application regarding the financial requirement? Before I went on maternity leave, I was able to meet the financial requirement. I now worry that since I have been receiving maternity pay for the past nine months, would that be grounds for refusal of my ILR application? I am going back to work in January and will remain on the same hours and rate. Shall I just ask my employer for a letter stating my annual income? (I can include my husband's income for this year but he only worked from March up to November this year and I don't know if that would just make things complicated).
3. Our payslips and P60 are now all online. Do I need to print them and ask my manager to sign them?
Thank you.
