Child born in UK but now lives abroad

Dear Senior Members,

I have a question from a friend and didnt get specific answer from MN1 guide.

My friend’s daughter was born in the UK when he was on student visa then his wife with daughter went back to home country and currently lives there.

My friend and his wife are seperated now and his daughter lives with his ex-wife. He is now a British Citizen and his daughter is 8 years old and he wants her to come and live with him with ex-wife’s consent.

Is there any possiblity of applying Briish citizenship for her from home country and join father.

Please help me to integrate father and daughter
