Applying very soon so any help massively appreciated.
For set(m) do we need to print and sign the consent to verify form?
I have heard it mentioned but it is not listed as a required doc in the document checklist.
If I do print, sign and date is OK to date it today (post online application but pre biometric appointment)??

You have to upload the consent form with your docs before your appointment so really the date does not matter as long as it is today or tomorrow or whenever before the appointment.

That sounds positive on the date but I'm still not sure whether the form is actually required. It's odd that it's not asked for on the set(m) form, but it's not...

Did you submit your application today online? That will be your date of application. Just print and sign the consent forms with todays date. You have to provide them at the appointment for them to scan and upload (or self upload now before the appointment yourself)

The online form provides you a link to download the consent form. Did it provide you the link?
Have you submitted and paid for your application? Are you on step 7 “further actions”? Is it displaying a link to download consent form there?

It's not asked for at all in set(m). The only form they ask to download and sign is sponsors relationship declaration. There is no link or even mention of the consent form.
And no we applied online a few days ago.

As long as the online form is not providing you any link then I assume its not required. As I am aware the sponsors consent is required for SET M. So probably the one your talking about is the same one.

I ran the whole SET(M) dummy application just now.
This is what I get. I suppose this is all you need. It says about documents also. See highlighed red. Ignore the nationality and dummy name.

Says I don't have permissions to see that, but I assume to consent to verify doc is listed?

Could please explain to me what that link (privacy policy) and how the home office can use it to verify your documents?
Is the sponsor declaration good enough to allow the home office to check you documents without consent verification form?
