ILR application with conviction not recorded

Post by V-ikejio » Sun Feb 10, 2019 7:12 pm

Hello Expects,

I am due to apply for my indefinite leave next month. I was banned from driving in January 2019 for driving a motor vehicle when over the limit. However,I have received a SAR from the criminal records office and this wasn’t recorded on my criminal record despite been convicted. Will my ILR be successful based on this ?

Drink driving is a recordable offence. Your ILR will be refused for 24 months from the date of conviction
You can apply for a basic disclosure to get a copy of your criminal record

Oops no ILR for you for 24 months from date of conviction.
If that takes you over the 6 years max period on tier 2 general visa then you should make alternate plans outside UK.

Sorry about his, I know how hard it must be...
