First passport for child born in India

May I know which form is used to apply for a 6 yrs old child born in India?
It seems that the application is made only on paper (at least thats the only thing I find).
Can someone guide me through this please?

Where is the child currently?

What claim to British passport does the child have?

What is the immigration status of both parents?

Thanks for your prompt reply.
The child was born in India and has been living there since.
The father is a British Citizen since 2002, before the child was born (2010)
The mother is an Indian national and has never travelled to the UK.
