SET(M) - Living arrangements / housing

Post by Brit2019 » Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:56 pm

Hello

Hoping someone here can provide some advice please, as the Home Office telephone hotline are refusing to answer what should be a basic question.

I live with my partner. He owns the property we live in, and I live with him free of any rental obligations.

In the SET(M) online application under the question "Do you own or rent your home?" I have selected "Other" and have explained that I live with my partner.

Then there is a follow-up question on the form which asks "Do you currently live with parents, friends or family rent-free?". I'm not sure whether or not to answer this as Yes or No. As we are unmarried partners, do you think this still counts as family or friends?

Thank you

HO does not provide immigration advice, so not useful to call them for that.
You can answer yes to that question.
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice
