You need to take this:TCB wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 3:00 pmHi all out there.
I am desperately looking for advice from anyone who has had experience with their ILR application.
I sent in my ILR application in November of last year (2018) after completing the 5 year spousal route and have had notice back from them (some 5 months later) saying that my English certificate is no longer valid because it’s no longer on the valid testing centres!!! At the time it stated that an English language certificate, if it was used in previous successful, was still valid. Looking at the website now, it looks like they are abiding by some new language requirement rules. Or did it change without me being aware of them???
They are giving my a mere 28 days to sit and supply a new English Certicate or they will refuse my application for ILR!!! They have given me an extremely unrealistic time frame to adhere to. The test is available to sit at the end of April and gives me 2 days to send in a certificate which is only available up to 13 days after you’ve sat the test.
I have sent in a letter stating this information and the wait is absolutely killing me!!!
Has anyone had experience similar to this? Does anyone know if they will they be understanding enough to give me a longer extension?
Also just to make it is the B1 test I need to sit?
Thanks so much in a advance xx
It is only 10 min long and this is all what you need. You need to take B1 from a SELT approved centre which is this one. Good luck.TCB wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 4:34 pmHi there
Thanks so much for sending the information regarding trinity college! I have cancelled the test I had booked for the 28th and have now got a test booked for this Saturday. Hopefully I’ll get my certificate in time to send on to home office.
This B1 test is only 10 mins long - surely that can’t be correct?
The general training test I took back in 2012, when I first applied for my spousal visa, was around 3 hours long. It seems pretty mental that it was rejected!
Thanks again
