Hi,

Is British citizenship under section 11(1),14(1)(b)(i) of the British nationality act 1981 is British citizenship by descent or otherwise than by descent ?

Seems like by descent.

If the person was a CUKC by descent (with Right of Abode) before 1983, then he became a British citizen by descent after 1983. The "by descent" was not lost in transition.
