Citizenship Application Case ID vs Reference number

Has anyone who’s applied since the new application process was introduced and got both a case ID emailed to them after submission and a reference number from the decision been able to check to see if the numbers are related?

I’ve seen a case ID start with 24, and I know the reference numbers start with 024, and I’m wondering if they’re both going to be the same with the reference number just having a 0 in front of it.

I have

• A reference from the application payment starting with UKVI_

• A case id from the application starting with 24

• A reference number for correspondence with caseworker which starts with 24, but is not the same as the case id
